Six Sentence Sunday #53 – Revenant (Part 33)

Finally this monolog can become a dialog. Six sentences a week is very slow way to have a conversation, made even slower when one of the conversing parties can’t actually speak so I hope the last few weeks haven’t been too dull for you.

    “I… I don’t understand,” she managed, her voice little more than a croaking whisper.
    “Something went wrong. The changes you made to the colonists to prepare them for life on their new home didn’t proceed as planned.”
    “But that’s not possible. We tested the process for years.”
    “Not enough, Doctor, not enough.”
