Finally this monolog can become a dialog. Six sentences a week is very slow way to have a conversation, made even slower when one of the conversing parties can’t actually speak so I hope the last few weeks haven’t been too dull for you.
This six picks up immediately following last week’s, so if you want to catch up or need a recap then just follow this link.
Here we go…
“I… I don’t understand,” she managed, her voice little more than a croaking whisper.
“Something went wrong. The changes you made to the colonists to prepare them for life on their new home didn’t proceed as planned.”
“But that’s not possible. We tested the process for years.”
“Not enough, Doctor, not enough.”

Eek. So its all on her now. What a situation to wake up to. 😦
What went wrong! (no, don’t spoil it, just saying). Dang. How does he know that something went awry?
Ruh roh. Poor Doctor Lady. It’s moving along just great, Goran.
That’s not something you want to hear after just waking up. She at least needs some coffee first. LOL Great six! 🙂
I think she’s in for more disturbing news. I like the tension-building and the overall spooky situation. Good six!
Talk about a crappy wake-up call. And the pacing is fine, Goran. The tension is a slow burn.
Oh, man, the truth hurts. What a horrible realization. Great six, Goran. 😀
