Weekend Writing Warriors #94 – Revenant (Part 134)

Last day of November which means that NaNoWriMo is at an end. Congratulations to everyone who rose to the challenge and who is banging out the last few pages of their novel. 50,000 words in 30 days is an impressive effort and I hope that your commitment is rewarded with a fine story.

I have the next bit of Revenant for you today and as always these carry on immediately from last week. If you want to see what has come before then just follow this link.

The trauma room doors opened and Miguel Sanchez, one of the station’s medical team, stepped out. Kassandra practically pounced on the man as he stepped out.
    “How is he, Doctor?”
Miguel shook his head. “He’s suffered a broken arm, broken femur, and several cracked ribs serious but not life threatening, the bleeding of the brain is another story. We went in to relieve the pressure, the surgery went well but he’s still unconscious.”
    “What’s the prognosis?”
“It’s touch and go. If he doesn’t wake up in the next few hours … well, you know how it can be.”

I hope you’ve enjoyed my contribution to this week’s list, and thanks for stopping by. Click on the image below to see all the wonderful writers who are taking part in this weekly event. weekend-warriors
