Weekend Writing Warriors #86 – Revenant (Part 125)

This post once again comes to you from Tasmania, specifically Port Arthur – a World Heritage listed site and well worth a visit. This trip has me driving around the beautiful Apple Isle with my family on a (Griswald like) vacation. Given that I am “out-and-about” I will keep the preamble short and launch straight into the next 8 sentences from Revenant.

As always, these carry on immediately from last week so if you want to see what has come before then just follow this link.

“We should take her out before they can link up.”
    “I’ll go.”
Ryan tracked Marcus’s progress as his teammate ran toward the lone banshee. Ryan also moved, taking a different path through the shelves to set up a crossfire; the A.R.D. making it easy to keep track of everyone and everything.
Red Dress charged between the shelves with none of the banshee’s characteristic caution, and it appeared to be holding something. “Marcus, wait!” Ryan shouted.
    Too late.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my contribution to this week’s list, and thanks for stopping by. Click on the image below to see all the wonderful writers who are taking part in this weekly event. weekend-warriors
