Weekend Writing Warriors #72 – Revenant (Part 111)

The Sundays are rolling on with alarming frequency. At least this week I made sure I signed up for the list early to avoid an embarrassing repeat of last week’s forgetfulness. Once again another 8 sentences of Revenant. If you didn’t come by last week then you should check out the previous post as well so that you don’t miss out on anything significant. As always, these sentences carry on immediately from last week so if you want to see what has come before then just follow this link.

She reached forward to nudge the professor who looked up just as the metal grate covering the ventilation duct fell to the floor.
“Come on,” Marcus said kneeling down with his fingers meshed together. “I’ll help you up.”
Ryan climbed onto the desk, and with Marcus’ help disappeared into the wide metal pipe.
A piercing wail shattered the silence.
