Weekend Writing Warriors #56 – Revenant (Part 95)

Summer officially ended in Australia two days ago, and I’m not entirely convinced that it actually arrived this year. Sure we did have the occasional hot day, but apart from about three or for days of over 40 degrees Celsius in a row this summer was something of a non-event.

Well its autumn now so we should have some cooler days ahead as we head toward winter. This week has another 8 sentences from Revenant, with Kassandra wielding her considerable intellect to get the outcome she desires from the Chairman. These sentences carry on immediately from last week so if you want to see what has come before then just follow this link.

The man’s mouth opened and closed a few times. “Well, yes, I … what I mean is….” His words tumbled out in fits and starts, and Kassandra waited for him to regain control of his diction.
Eventually, he sighed. “Very well, Doctor. I can see that your mind is quite made up on the subject, and I have to admit that you make some very valid points.”
“Thankyou, Mister Chairman.” She fought to keep the triumphant grin from her face. “I knew you would agree with me once presented with all the facts.”

  1. Go Kassandra! 🙂 She’s sharp–and knows how to get things done. Good 8, Goran.

Summer’s over–and is there much change in the weather from season to season there? We’re (im)patiently waiting for spring. Another snowstorm this weekend. ~dramatic sigh~
