This is it, the last Sunday of 2013. For me this year seems to have simply flown by, it seems like only yesterday that we were saying farewell to Six Sentence Sunday and hello to Weekend Writing Warriors. Since then I have contributed every week, initially with some different stuff but then I returned to Revenant and haven’t looked back.
This is the 86th instalment of the story which now comes in at almost 8600 words. It may be a slow way to write a story but it has been fun and part of the reason the year has gone so fast is that I am always looking forward to Sunday so I can share the next bit with you.

The rest of the horde didn’t even slow. It trampled the fallen pair into the concrete floor as the chilling cries of the banshees spurred them on.
