Six Sentence Sunday #60 – Revenant (Part 40)

I hope everyone is enjoying the festive season. Christmas is behind us for 2012, but 2013 looms large as New Years celebrations are being readied around the globe. Unfortunately for Ryan and Kassandra they’re about to find themselves in a world of trouble. Sure there’ll be plenty of fireworks, but it probably won’t end with a kiss at midnight when the ball drops in Time Square.

    “It’s not too late for you to change your mind, you know. I can collect whatever you need and bring it up to Purgatory.”
    She shook her head. “The station is far too important to risk bringing in contaminated samples. You need me to make sure they’re clean, and that’s not something I can do remotely. It looks like you’re stuck with me.”
