Six Sentence Sunday #59 – Revenant (Part 39)

Here we are, the first Six Sunday after the failed Mayan Apocalypse. In keeping with the tradition of forging ahead in the post apocalyptic world we have the next snippet of my story.

    “I suppose that’s true,” she said, leaning back until her head rested against the wall. “It all still seems so unreal to me though.”
    Ryan knew exactly what she meant. Only five months ago, this woman had been entombed in a derelict colony ship floating in the middle of nowhere. It took guts to do what they were attempting and, despite his reservations, he had to admire the woman’s courage.
    “Things’ll get plenty real soon enough,” he said, his tone somewhat harsher than he intended.

  2. At least he’s not sugar-coating it. Great six as usual, Goran. Glad you made it through the hurricane winds, volcanoes, and lava flows to write your six. I hope you have lovely holidays and I’m sending cool thoughts (we need warm ones up here) to you for Christmas. 🙂
