Thank you for all your kind comments in last week’s post. I’m sorry I didn’t respond as I was away from my computer with my daughters on their Year 5/6 school camp. A beautiful spot, tucked away in the lush green forested hills of South East Gippsland. Ryan is drawing ever closer to finding out if the Doctor Kassandra Evans is still safe in her cryogenic chamber or if she’d become corrupted like so many of her fellows.

Ryan spun completely around, the rifle held against his shoulder as he scanned the area for more husks.
He saw none.
The doctor’s chamber was close, only ten paces away. From here it looked intact, but Ryan knew the risks that assumptions can bring. He needed to be sure, and for that he had to get closer. His heart hammered with every step, head turning as he observed every approach; up, down, left, and right, leaving nothing to chance.
